Jennifer Mendez is an Associate Attorney at Sioli Alexander Pino, handling insurance defense within the firm's practice.  Jennifer was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida International University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a certificate in Pre-Law Skills and Professional Values. Jennifer completed her Juris Doctorate at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. While attending law school, Jennifer worked as a law clerk at a complex commercial litigation law firm in Miami, FL, where she focused on legal research, drafting legal documents, and attended court proceedings. Additionally, Jennifer was able to gain practical and real-world experience by taking part in interning for The Honorable Judge Bidwill in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida.

 

Jennifer is member of the Cuban American Bar Association, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and First Generation Professional Legal Society. For extracurricular participation, Jennifer participated in the Trial Advocacy Summer Institute, where she developed case theories, practiced opening statements, direct and cross-examination of witnesses, and closing statements.  Jennifer graduated with Dean’s List and the CALI excellence for the Future award in Civil Pre-Trial Practice.
