Ruth Eschman is Partner at Sioli Alexander Pino and focuses on Admiralty & Maritime Law, General Liability, and Federal Workers’ Compensation litigation.

Ms. Eschman graduated cum laude from Illinois College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and English Literature.  After obtaining her bachelor's degree, Ms. Eschman spent one year working for AmeriCorps, where she focused on promoting education for low income/high-risk youth in her community.

Ms. Eschman went on to attend Southern Illinois University School of Law, graduating with a specialization in Business and Transactional Law. While attending law school, Ms. Eschman served as the Managing Editor for the Southern Illinois University Law Journal.  During her second and third year of law school, Ms. Eschman also served as a judicial law clerk for the Jackson County Circuit Court of Illinois, where she gained valuable experience in various types of law.

Since her admission to practice, Ms. Eschman has focused her practice on insurance defense litigation as well as business and transactional law.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Eschman worked as an associate attorney at a litigation firm in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she focused primarily on representing attorneys in professional liability defense litigation as well as representing clients with the preparation of high level estate planning documents.
